To continue in your program, you must pass each final course exam (or, for the MBA capstone course MBA609, each of the four unit exams) in no more than three attempts. (See below for important notes about specialization tracks following MBA609).
(Note that the program entrance exams, however, are not limited to three attempts.)
If you do not pass a course exam after three attempts, you will not be able to continue with the program.
You may restart the program after at least five years have passed since the date of your enrollment. See the latest program catalog for details.
However, all course content is available without restriction in the Business Administration section of our certificate courses site at https://learn.saylor.org. Even if you are not able to continue with the degree program, you can still learn all of the content for free and earn certificates for each course you complete.
Notes:
- All proctored exams must be completed with SmarterProctoring and adhere to exam rules, including wait periods between attempts, total allowed attempts, use of multple accounts, circumventing proctoring restrictions, etc.
- Each program entrance exam has unlimited attempts.
- If you have reached the specialization track in the MBA program (that is, you have completed the MBA609 capstone course and chosen either MBA610 or MBA613 as your next course) and fail any of the three courses in your chosen track, you may switch over to the other track and attempt to complete your MBA program with the other specialization.
