Location
The Saylor MBA and MMKT programs are offered worldwide, with some exceptions:
US-based students
For prospective students (of any nationality) residing in the United States of America, currently the programs are available ONLY to those living in Florida. Residents of other US states are not eligible to enroll in the programs at this time.
In the future, as we pursue our accreditation, we expect to be able to welcome students from other states.
Anyone can join and complete the Pre-Enrollment phase of the programs, but only enrollment agreements from students residing in Florida will be accepted.
International students
Most international students may join the programs. Saylor Academy courses and programs are not available to students in Iran, Syria, and North Korea.
Education
The Saylor Academy masters programs have no specific educational requirements. For example, you do not need to have your Bachelors degree to be able to join.
We offer many free courses in business and other topics at https://learn.saylor.org that can help you get ready. The program catalog offers suggestions for each of the MBA courses.
Language
Program courses are created and delivered in US English, so facility with English is important to success in your courses.
Saylor Academy does not provide materials in translation or recommend a particular tool, but students can use translation tools of their choice with most of the learning materials.
Some important caveats about exams: translation tools might not be available during a proctored online exam, and the brief exam questions and answers could be translated in a way that makes in difficult to discern the right answer.
Finance
Saylor Academy does not charge tuition and there are no books or materials fees. Our proctoring service, SmarterProctoring, charges $5 USD for each proctored exam attempt. Students must have a bank card (e.g. credit card, debit or other cash card) that is able to make payments in US dollars.
The programs includes 10 to 15 proctored exams, each of which can be attempted up to three times, so proctoring fees can range from $55 USD to $225 USD.
See our program catalog for a full description of costs.
